Lenny Alcamo born 06.20.1946, in Brooklyn N.Y, is a singer,
songwriter and guitar strummer who lives in Fountain
City, Wisconsin.
Being a life-long fan of ballad singers, most of his original songs are slow and quiet.
He was a finalist in the 2005 Fond Du Lac Wisconsin Songwriters
Competition and a finalist in the 2010 LaCrosse Wisconsin Great River
Folk Festival Songwriting Contest
He also has had the special opportunity, on four separate occasions, to play backup guitar for his granddaughter's vocal performances at the Minnesota State Fair Talent Contest
A former member of The Winona Accordion Club where, for several years, he enjoyed the privilege of making music with many notable Winona area musicians.
Currently, he enjoys exploring and expressing himself musically with
the Fountain City Jam Group and the monthly Sunday Song Circle Group at the Acoustic Cafe, in Winona, MN.
He will be performing a set of original songs, from an upcoming album,
at the MWMF
