Close your eyes at an Apartment 4 show and you might swear someone’s unearthed a lost videogame soundtrack; the energy is high, the groove is air-tight, and the melodies are infectious. But this is not background score; this is front and center pop music you just have to dance to. Agile bass & drums, rocking guitar & keyboards and powerful lead vocals take you through catchy song after catchy song. As you’re led through shades of R&B, Rock, Dance and Funk, count on Apartment 4 to make the experience melodic and danceable. Karl formed Apt. 4 in Winona, MN in 2008 along with Justin Smith and Christ Woznicki. Eventually, Andrew McManimon joined the group to add the missing ingredient. Their first 2 EPs quickly became local favorites and their brand-new full-length release, “The Apartment 4 LP”, has the wide range of the band on full display.
